I trying to install it on a Windows Server Datacenter Edition build When I double click on clearcompressionflag. I tried to re-download the file, change the compatibilty mode, unblock the file, run as administrator, turn off DEP, Firewall, disable Ms Defender and none of these solve this situation. I don't know why it always has to be a constant struggle with Microsoft and updating. I started to install IIS on server R2.
The install stopped other services and I attempted to remove IIS. It will not remove. Great guide, really useful and well crafted. Although previous steps worked when I try to continue with KB the machine tells me the update is already installed, I then go check the installed updates where I found the previous ones but not KB, KB and KB which all tell me "I am already installed" but don't show up either in the history or in the installed updates.
